Meeting was started with commencement of the recitation of some verses Holy Quran. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Amir Khan (District Health Officer, District Health Authority Bahawalnagar) and co-chaired by Mr. Muhammad Afzaal (Site Manager, Nai Zindagi Trust – CoPC+ Bahawalnagar). Rifat (Deputy Director Social Welfare) Dr. Kinza Fatima(Clinical Psychologist – ART Center for HIV Clinic Bahawalnagar) Miss Salma Bibi (Statistical Officer-DHA) Dr. Mubashir Ahmad Malik (Provincial Coordinator Punjab – DAC) and Mr. Dr. Mubashir Malik opened the meeting, welcome all participants, and provide an overview of the meeting’s objectives. Mr. Dr. Mubashir Malik (Provincial Coordinator Punjab – DAC) and Mr. Muhammad Imran (Manager District Coordination Pakistan) also provide a comprehensive update on the current HIV/AIDS situation in the district, including statistics, trends, and challenges. Dr. M.Amir Khan , DHO DHA Bahawalnagar, concluded the DAC meeting by commending the collaboration between Punjab AIDS Control Program and Nai Zindagi Trust, providing essential services and HIV treatment to affected individuals. The meeting adjourned at 12:10 P.M. with a vote of thanks to and from the Chair.
In this meeting, Nai Zindagi Trust shared activities, performance, and measures taken by Nai Zindagi Trust to prevent the PWIDs at District Bahawalnagar till 30 September, 2023. The participants in the meeting expressed complete satisfaction with the performance of the Nai Zindagi Trust.
