Mr. Amjad Niazi, CEO District Health Authority, Sahiwal visited Nai Zindagi’s CoPC in Sahiwal on May 26, 2021. The CEO met with Nai Zindagi officials and was briefed about HIV prevention and harm reduction services of Nai Zindagi and linkup process with special clinic. The idea of free baseline tests for PWID and issues regarding smooth operations and project activities were discussed. A formally documented request for the establishment of District Aids Council (DAC) in Sahiwal was handed over to Mr. Niazi. The CEO also distributed living support packages among spouses of PWID and appreciated the work.
