The senior management staff of Nai Zindagi visited The ART Adherence Unit (AAU) for a focused group discussion with the beneficiaries in order to gain insight regarding the program delivery across service delivery components, in order to seek crucial input for the development of the Global Fund concept note.
The ART Adherence Unit (AAU) offers a 2 month residential program to people using drugs, living with HIV and having a CD4 below 500. Approximately a 100 clients present at the AAU are referred from the Global Fund supported CoPc+ sites across Pakistan. Hence, the AAU offered an appropriate platform for a productive Focused Group Discussion.
The clients welcomed this initiative and actively participated throughout the discussion and provided useful information that will be used to refine existing service delivery modules under the Global Fund project.
