Nai Zindagi has been sub-contacted by MAINLINE to identify and engage key CSOs in Nepal who work with people who use drugs for an improved, targeted and meaningful collaboration among them to compliment each other and maximise benefit to beneficiaries.
A mission was organised from 10-16 January 2015 to monitor progress, fine tune processes and reach consensus on program timelines, outputs and outcomes. An additional role of this mission was to support, train and steer organisations to achieve the agreed targets in line with the contracts signed.
The three organisations: NIRNAYA (representing young people using drugs in Nepal); NDUPA (representing women who use drugs in Nepal) and FDDR (federation of drug treatment services in Nepal) are on target and will complete the agreed activities by the February 2015.
