Dr. Irshad Nadeem, CEO of Health, chaired the DAC meeting. Dr. Salah Muhammad DHO (PS), Dr. Adil Bashir DHO (MS),Rana Muhammad Irfan Khan Social welfare officer, Imran Latif Awan AEO Education Department, Ghazanfer Hussain AEO Education Department, Dr. Arjon Lal In charge ART Center, Mr. Muhammad  Tariq PACP, Dr. Adeel Qayyum MO District Jail, Dr. Umar DSO-WHO, Mr. Yousaf Saeed Focal Person HIV/AIDS Health office, Mr. Furqan entomologist and Mr. Abdul Rub Farooqi ED-Jaag welfare movement were participated in District AID Council meeting as a stakeholders and Dr. Mubashir Malik Province Coordinator, Mr. Muhammad Imran Khan Manager District Coordination Nai Zindagi Trust and Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Ahmad Site Manager, Mr. Akhtar Hussain ORS and Mr. Abdul Rasheed Support assistance Rahim yar Khan, from the Site Office, attended the DAC meeting.

Dr. Mubashar Malik provincial Coordinator Nai Zindagi Trust started the meeting, welcomed to all participant by NZT and briefed the agenda of DAC meeting. Mr. Muhammad Imran, Manager District Coordination at Nai Zindagi-Pakistan, presented comprehensive updates on the current situation of HIV/AIDS among PWIDs in Pakistan, especially in Rahimyar Khan, including statistics, trends, and prevalence rates, as well as prevalence rates among spouses and children, and services that are carried out by Nai Zindagi for prevention and harm reduction and HIV treatment from government hospitals and ART centers. In this meeting, progress indicators were also shared by the district representative.MO ART also shared their concerns in front of the CEO. In response, CEO took prompt action and directed the concerned section to respond. MO Jail shared the situation of ARV deliveries to jail and the overall status of HIV clients in jail.

All stakeholders gave their input to better coordination and effective working, as well as appreciated the efforts of Nai Zindagi. At the end of the meeting, the chair ensured that desired support from any department would be available for achieving the objective of preventing HIV in the district.
