Ghazanfar Imam Rizvi (1963 – 2017)
Over 20 years of experience with Nai Zindagi in the field of drug demand and harm reduction with specific focus on HIV and AIDS in country, regionally and internationally.
Mr. Ghazanfar has been responsible for initiating numerous innovative and needs based pilot programs such as demonstrating adherence of injecting drug users to ARV; programs for wives and children of HIV positive clients. He has generously contributed to the personal and professional development of key staff and teams of professionals at Nai Zindagi, with a specific focus on stressing on the quality of their out put and services.
He is currently responsible for initiating District AIDS Councils across the four provinces, as part of the Global Fund Round 9 grant and is also involved in the overall management of Nai Zindagi.
Khadim Hussain Alvi
Mr. Alvi has been with Nai Zindagi since 2007. He deals with external financial stakeholders, arranges and forecasts funds required, and is involved in all key decision making processes of the company. Mr. Alvi joined Nai Zindagi after working 9 years in the corporate sector. He has worked with A F Ferguson and Ernest Young Chartered Accountants.
He is currently managing a team of 12 finance and administration professionals at the head office responsible for managing the USD 14 million Global Fund grant. The finance unit also oversees and monitors financial functions being conducted at the sub recipients of the grant in 29 districts across Pakistan.
He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Pakistan.
Salman Ul Hassan Qureshi
Mr. Salman has worked extensively in research, program design, training, capacity enhancement, implementation, monitoring and evaluation in the field of drug use related HIV and AIDS prevention and treatment.
He is currently the senior program manager of the Global Fund Round 9 HIV grant implemented by Nai Zindagi. His program team of 18 professionals has extensive expertise in the area of management information systems (MIS), data management, monitoring, evaluation, reporting, HIV and AIDS related diagnostics, treatment, care and support. He is also closely coordinating with sub recipient organizations and Public sector AIDS programs across Pakistan.
Ms Ishrat Sawar heads IT & Management Information System (MIS) department at Nai Zindagi and has worked extensively in supervision of web design, software development, analytical research and quality control for process improvement. She oversees up gradation & maintenance of website (NZMIS) of organization, Involved in statistical scrutiny & data profiling for different purposes. She closely coordinates with Sub-Recipient organization for data collection & MIS verifications.
She has Masters Degree in Computer sciences from international Islamic University with 12 years experience in IT Department.
