Mr. Abdul Fattah Halio, District Officer Coordination, Bahawalnagar chaired the second session of ‘District AIDS Council’ (DAC), an initiative of Nai Zindagi under the Global Fund SSF – HIV grant.
The meeting was well attended by representatives from Police department, Health department and civil society of Bahwalnagar. The District AIDS Council will provide guidance to Nai Zindagi’s team operating in Bahawalnagar and will monitor progress on a regular basis.
Mr. Abdul Fattah Halio appreciated the services of Nai Zindagi and ensured all possible support in the District. Furthermore, Mr. Nazir Ahmad, DSP (Headquarter-Bahawalnagar), assured his support and agreed to issue a letter to all district police stations regarding outreach services of Nai Zindagi’s team, this will enable them to work in the district without facing field related police and other issues.
