Nepalese community leaders welcome RBB-NZ-SHARAN consultation
March 12, 2014
Community leaders and activists representing people who use drugs in Nepal welcome the Response Beyond Borders (RBB) initiative to host the consultation ‘ Evidence to Action’ in Kathmandu in April 2014. They expressed an urgent need for this consultation to bring together development partners and communities and support initiatives to expand services for people who use drugs in Nepal. Their contribution to the agenda of this consultation is valuable and focuses on TB and Hepatitis B& C among communities affected by drug use, HIV and AIDS. Activists from among women from people who use drugs demand a specific focus of the consultation on addressing their needs.
